One of the saddest realities of South Africa is that it has
one of the highest crime rates in the entire world.
Check out this sign...Seriously can you believe this sign?
I guess another way to look at it is at least the
government warns us!
Tell me the truth - doesn't he look like Robert Redford in
"Out of Africa?" OK maybe thats a stretch but, this
3 day safari in the wilds of Africa was absolutely
an experience of a lifetime. We literally went into the lions den -
after dark - it was so scary!
They say a picture says a 1000 words...
We watched 35 elephants bathe and frolic in a
water hole that took our breath away!

he literally was caught in a lions claws and
barely escaped being the lion's dinner!)

ReplyDeleteIsn't this the trip you were celebrating 20+ years ago at Taylor's 40th birthday. Wouldn't you know it would take a mission to get you to on a real safari. I guess the wild animal park in San Diego doesn't count-right?
